研究領域

  1. 電催化水解產氫

水分解產氫的反應是個極耗能的化學反應,若能利用觸媒的催化特性方能使此一反應之活化能大幅降低而提升效率,現今產氫最好的觸媒仍為白金,但因白金的稀有性並無法被廣泛利用,本實驗室擬進行低成本產氫觸媒的研發,讓此一程序更有效率。

  1. 光電化學電池

本實驗室亦著重於光電化學電池之分解水產氫及其相關領域研究,使用取之不盡的太陽能以及地球上含量豐富的材料來進行光的吸收,並且利用光激發之高能電子來促使水發生氧化還原反應而產生氫氣及氧氣。

  1. 程序強化

程序強化是一個相對新穎的化工概念,主要在利用超重力場及微波等能量大幅提升質傳及熱傳效率,此一效率提升可達一至三個數量級之多,因此更能夠大幅降低設備成本。本實驗室將進行新設備之研發,並整合新穎材料之開發與傳統化工製程之程序強化,以期有創新之突破。
