楊老師主要的研究領域為合成氣相層析分離管的填充材料之液相部分。液相部分由高分子材料組成。高分子材料的分子量和結構，以MALDI / TOF質譜測定法和凝膠體層析法分析之。同時評估填充新材料的氣相層析分離管之效率。
