108-2"李嘉平教授孝親紀念獎學金"受理申請

本系李嘉平教授不幸於2011年8月22日因病去世，李嘉平教授一生熱愛研究與教學，造就許多科技與教育人才。李嘉平教授的母親王貴潔女士為紀念愛子，特捐贈新台幣貳佰萬元整，由化工系設立"李嘉平教授孝親紀念獎學金"，以延續李嘉平教授作育英才的精神，並獎勵學業成績以及學術研究表現傑出的化工系學生。本獎學金自105學年度第1學期起，每學期頒發碩博士班研究生若干名，每名獎學金新台幣2萬元整，並個別頒發獎狀乙份。台科大化工系師生由衷感謝李伯母捐贈"李嘉平教授孝親紀念獎學金"，我們深信未來必定可以鼓勵本系傑出研究生專研化工科技造福人群，也足以延續李嘉平教授對學術研究與技術開發的熱情與壯志。本獎學金自109/02/19起至109/03/19止，接受申請，相關辦法與申請書如附件。

Chemical Engineering department announced the “Professor Lee-Chia-Ping’s Filial Piety Scholarship”

Professor Lee-Chia-Ping devoted his life to education at NTUST for 23
years, from 1988 to August 22nd 2011, when he died of illness. With immense
passion in research and teaching, Professor Lee educated numerous outstanding
individuals in technology and education. In remembrance for Professor Lee, his
mother donated 2 million NTD as scholarship for the Department of Chemical
Engineering so that his dedication to education may be continued and students
with academic and research excellence may be encouraged.  Application is open until March 19, 2020.
