Job Description

The Department of Chemical Engineering of the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology invites applications for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position.

Applications from qualified scholars in all specialty areas of chemical engineering and technology will be considered. All appointees are expected to contribute to the teaching and research excellence, and to actively engage in promoting the growth of the Department of Chemical Engineering.

The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Department/College's international exchange service and English courses
  • Develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses
  • Engage in innovative approaches to teaching and research
  • Publish high-quality research in leading journals
  • Participate administrative duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. degree related to chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, energy, materials science, environmental engineering, polymer technology, or artificial intelligence (AI) and related subjects.
  • Able to communicate in Chinese and conduct teaching in chemical engineering subjects in English.
  • Enthusiasm in teaching and research
  • At least 1 year experience in industry position or industrial collaborative research work
