Our PhD program includes development and research of chemical engineering technology, focusing on training students’ special knowledge, R&D ability, competencies in sustainability, and quality attitude with coordination of people in different field, with global perspective and leadership & management ability. We hope our PhD degree student would be international top talents with chemical technology development.

Our department has around 32 professors, they having extensive research experience such as process & control, polymer synthesis, surface & interface science, catalyst & reaction engineering, environmental engineering, superficial & thermodynamic technics, renewable energy, bioengineering, etc. Moreover, our professors all have years of industry experience, possessing practical research capabilities, and the average SCI thesis every year for our department are around 4.3 thesis per professor. Besides, The QS world university rankings 2022 of the subject of chemical engineering of NTUST is around 151-200 rank, meaning our department with excellent achievement.
